Gekidan Inu Curry Tribute

Gekidan Inu Curry is a Japanese animation duo composing of Ayumi Shiraishi and Yousuke Anai, known by their pen names as 2shiroinu and Doroinu. Inspired by both Russian and Czech animation, they’re well known for working on SHAFT productions including Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, Bakemonogatari, and most notably, Madoka Magica. Their work as often been described as cute, but secretly morbid. I’ve fallen in love with them, and this video is meant as a compilation of the many works they’ve did, and the creative methods of animation they used, from stop motion to rotoscoping, and the use of a kitchen blender.
