L’association “Les régiments du Passé“ fait “revivre“ deux régiments étrangers qui ont servi la France, “Royal Ecossais“ et “La Légion Irlandaise“. Lord John Drummond de Perth rassemble à la création du régiment 500 soldats qui par lordonnance du 1er août 1744 forment le Royal-Ecossais au service de la France.
