Elżbieta Towarnicka - Kicy bidy i bokha (Ile bied, ile głodów...)
Well known in the world Polish opera diva Elżbieta Towarnicka, soprano, sing a song composed by Jan Kanty Pawluśkiewicz to the poem “How Many Poverties, How Many Hungers“ written by a Gypsy poet Papusza, who without any education wrote her poems in Roma language after learned the alphabet by herself. At the beginning of the 50ties another poet Jerzy Ficowski helped her to gather her poems into the album Papusza’s Harps.
