Indigenous Intertribal Pow Wow Song

◎ Several Native American communities hold social gatherings called Pow Wow. Originally, the meaning of the word pow-wow was “spiritual leader“, but nowadays a pow wow is a specific type of event for Native American people to meet and dance, sing, socialize and honor their cultures. Some pow wow events happen in one day while other major special occasion events can go as long as one week.
