Walking robots - are robots, which have motors, connected to legs and can walk on surfaces using their legs. Usually walking robots have four legs. But there are robots with two legs (android robots), also with six legs and so on. There are walking robots which have a motor or group of motors, often servomotor to control each joint of leg.
Mechanical walking robots have few motors and a lot of legs, but using a special mechanism they can control movement of their legs. In this video a six legged walking mechanism with one motor is reviewed.
