David Kushner from Velvet Revolver speaks about the wave of hopelessness that comes over one when stuck in the cycle of addiction and not knowing how to get out of it. In this video interview MusiCares®, David speaks of seeing people try to get sober and not make it. Their rock bottom equaled death. When he hit rock bottom he could not imagine living the rest of his life with the hopelessness nor could he image not drinking the rest of his life.
