Christina Ellingsen faces jail for saying men cannot be any type of women - Women’s Space To Speak
How self-id was introduced into Norwegian law and the effects it has had on the rights of women and girls. See Update below.
Christina Ellingsen is a writer and activist with a background in biotechnology, engineering and the humanities. She has dedicated the last two years to the affirmation of women’s sex-based rights, and is the director of Women’s Declaration International Norway and Norway’s only publisher by and for women, Matriarken Publisher.
She is currently being subjected to police investigations over asserting that men cannot be women, girls, mothers or lesbians, after Norway introduced the concept of “gender identity“ into hate crime laws.
UPDATE: after eight months the police investigation regarding Christina Ellingsen was dropped last month but another one has been instigated into Norwegian artist Tonje Gjevjon.
