Buddhist iconography: Dr. Lokesh Chandra in conversation with Dr. Yashaswini Chandra

Lokesh Chandra, Chairman ICCR, is a scholar of Buddhism and the Indian arts. He has served as a member of the Rajya Sabha, Vice-President of the Indian Council for Cultural Relations, and Chairman of the Indian Council of Historical Research. In 2006 he was honoured with a Padma Bhushan. He has published over 360 works and editions of texts, including the Tibetan-Sanskrit Dictionary, Materials for a History of Tibetan Literature, Buddhist Iconography of Tibet, and his Dictionary of Buddhist Art (20 volumes)
