XV Patrick Blackett (X01) is a new ship for the NavyX Division of the Royal Navy. It’s used as a testbed for new technology that may benefit maritime naval activities; such as unmanned vehicles. A number of drone vessels can indeed be seen in the video (with crew for testing & safety purposes).
