Retribution is the debut single of Vaelravyn - an Appalachian atmospheric black metal / post metal band from Tennessee, USA. Their unique sound blends atmospheric black metal’s traditional fare of melodic guitars, tremolo picking, and blast beats with female clean and harsh vocals, saxophone, and melodic death metal and folk metal influences sprinkled in. Vocalist and lyricist Lizzy says of the track, “For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.
