Ed Coan | 385 kg / 848 Lbs Squat in 1995

Ed Coan at the 1995 years USPF Nationals. He went in this competition with a lot of pain and injuries, so he only did what he had to do to win to qualify to IPF worlds. In the 80s and 90s as well as the 00s he won all but one of competitions he entered. In 1991 at the USA nationals he deadiftet 901 lbs / 409 kg RAW with a stifbar and a 2 h weigh in. Today almost 30 years later no one has beaten that. Ed was also tested positive for three times in the IPF. All those were at world championships. The first ti
