As a Knife Maker I wanted to make a special knife. As a Cop and Active Shooter/Terrorism Instructor I knew I needed to engineer a Knife and a Tool that was strong enough to pry doors, brake and rake glass, bust through walls, and pretty much crash and trash just about anything, as well as be a hell of a hand sword for CQB battle.
