drum-tec presents: The Zildjian L80 // Gen16 cymbal “hack“

In this video, we do a little “hack“ to the new Zildjian L80 low volume cymbals ;) To create an interesting sounding alternativ to the “regular“ Zildjian Gen16 BB cymbals, we´ve applied the Gen16 pickups to the L80 cymbals & play them through the Gen16 sound module! The pickups for ride/crash are mounted just like using them with the Gen16 BB cymbals. Since the bottom hihat cymbal doesn´t have a hole for the pickup cable coming from the top cymbal, we´ve simply mounted the pickup on
