“Into The Light“ is a documentary style video clip featuring brief “every day life“ scenes of the indigenous Huaorani Tribe from the Amazon river basin in Ecuador set against the multitude of threats to the Amazon rainforest threatening their traditional way of life. Large scale deforestation through uncontrolled logging, increasing fires and environmental contamination through illegal mining operations as well as oil and gas extraction are constant and ever-growing threats to the human livelihoods and the habitats of many animal species that rely on the forests and ecosystems surrounding the Amazon River to survive and thrive.
