Vintage Hanger or Key Holder – Decoupage and transfer tutorial
DIY Vintage Hanger or Key Holder – DIY Home Decor
In this video, I’m making a beautiful piece in vintage style. It can become a hanger in the kitchen and a housekeeper in the hallway. The main technique is image transfer. But for the versatility of the image, I use decoupage, stencil patterns, and aging. For all questions on creating a similar hanger, you can write to me in the comments or in direct.
I wish you the joy of creativity!
I used the following materials:
- MDF wooden hanger blank - size 24*15 cm (11*6 inches)
- laser printout of the main picture (I have a decoupage card with a hydrangea flower) - IMPORTANT! If you have text on the picture, then it must be done in a mirror image!
- stencils - I have a stencil with curls - border and corner in the same style
- transfer medium
- acrylic paints to match the colors of your picture - I have white, blue, black, dark green, metallic bronze
- glue for decoupage
- volume gel - I have bronze metallic
