Sudevi Mataji aka Friederike Irina Bruning came to India 41 years ago after completing her education in Berlin, Germany. In search of life’s purpose, she went to Radha Kund & got enlightenment. After that, Bruning refused to go back to her native place & also taught herself Hindi and since then this Padma Shri awardee has been residing in Govardhan & taking care of abandoned, sick & injured cows in need.
