Are singers who use autotune bad? #shorts

“They can’t sing, they use autotune!“.. Whether or not you agree with it, you’ve probably heard this statement, or something along the lines of singers using autotune being bad singers. But here’s the thing. Most producers use some form of pitch enhancement tool in their vocal productions, and chances are that goes for your fave’s records too. There are so many reasons this is done - it’s not necessarily to fix a “bad“ vocal. Are singers who use autotune bad? And is autotune ruining music? In this #shorts I give you my two cents on the subject. I could probably talk about autotune and vocal production for hours, BUT my parents are visiting and I haven’t seen them in 19 months, so here’s a shortie. What are your thoughts on the use of autotune and other pitch enhancing/correcting tools such as Melodyne? Feel free to discuss the subject in comments, but remember to be kind and respectful.
