Okinawa Goju-ryu Bujutsu - 42nd Japanese Kobudo Demonstration (2019)

Higaonna Morio Sensei and his student demonstrating Okinawa Goju-ryu Bujutsu during the 42nd Nihon Kobudo Embutaikai held at the Nippon Budokan on February 3rd, 2019. The event also commemorated the 40th anniversary of the Nihon Kobudo Kyokai. The Goju-ryu (剛柔 流) is a style of karate-do founded in Okinawa by the master Chojun Miyagui. The literal translation is go (’hard’), ju (’soft’) and ryu (’style’), so the meaning is translated as the style of hard and soft, since it is a combination of these concepts
