Pike Trap is my take on a good and durable Jerkfly pattern and the first prototypes came out of the vice back in 2019. The final version was released commercial in 2020, and I haven’t changed the pattern since.
The core of the body is based on a dubbing brush and you can imitate a lot of forage, by changing the color combo.
This pattern is 99% synthetic, durable, easy to cast and just keeps catching fish.
This fly is inspired by watching Gunnar Brammer’s Tie Like A Pro series from 2018.
