Assault troopers share details of liberating Novogrodovka, Donetsk People’s Republic An assault unit of the Tsentr Group of Forces completed the task of liberating Novogrodovka in Avdeyevka direction. The soldiers entered the city in small groups, trying to stay close to shelters and bypass camouflaged dugouts in the woods. The joint work of motorised rifle units and air reconnaissance teams allowed the assault troopers to quickly liberate urban streets, facilitating the advance of Russian troops into the depths of the AFU’s defences. Resolute efforts of assault squads along with skilful leadership and effective use of force and resources resulted in a successful mission. The enemy was forces out of the settlement.
