Fred Elwell

Frederick William Elwell, 1870 - 1958. Painter of genre, portraits, landscapes and still life. Born 29 June 1870 in Beverley, East Yorkshire, son of James Elwell, wood carver and Mayor of Beverley. Died in Beverley, 3 January 1958. Music is Lord Mayo by Cherish the Ladies.
