The pair of Chinese Pangolin at Zoo Leipzig are the only individuals of their species outside Asia, having been held at the collection since 2007 - the longest period of time that any species of pangolin has successfully been kept in a European captive collection. As one of the most endangered mammal species in the world, this really is a “Last Chance To See“ species.
