I’ve been in a Greek mood recently to prepare for an upcoming trip with my students to Greece. Recently I learned some Rotting Christ, and now I wanted to play some more classic tunes from the Hellenic Black Metal masters, Varathron. “Unholy Funeral“ is the third track from the band’s 1993 debut full length album, ’His Majesty at the Swamp.’ I learned this song by ear and played it in one take.
