GENERAL GRANT TANKS - 11/06/1942

El Giza, Libya. At the railhead of Giza, we see various shots of General Ritchie’s new tanks - the American-built ’General Grant’. The tanks arrive by train, covered with tarpaulin. United States instructors explain the structural details of the new vehicles to British soldiers. The soldiers run to the tanks, get inside, fire the guns and drive the tanks off. Good shots of numerous tanks being driven across a desert area. Soldiers in a ’General Grant’ move slowly past a burning tank - probably destroyed in their practice session.
