TESL Perspectives: The Struggles of Teaching Pronunciation
Whether it be of a case of time constraints in a jam-packed curriculum or a teacher’s lack of familiarity with the concept, pronunciation is a skill that is most-often forgotten about in the ESL classroom. Along with Paramita Dutta and Lewis Urquhart, two educators based in Canada and Scotland respectively, we address some of teacher’s common concerns with teaching pronunciation, how to overcome them, and share some resources on how to improve your knowledge.
