TSL’s Interview with Matteo Rizzo

Italy’s Matteo Rizzo has gradually been rising up the ranks of figuring skating. Last season, Matteo earned a bronze medal at the 2019 European Figure Skating Championships and added a quad toe to his programs. Over the summer, Matteo visited The Cricket Club to work on adding quads. This fall got off to a slow start for Matteo, but he regrouped with a win at the Shanghai Trophy and a bronze medal at the Cup of China. I caught up with the skater as he was beginning to prepare for Nationals, Europeans and the World Championships.
