Anyone Who Knows What Love Is - Irma Thomas Cover (Black Mirror Soundtrack)

How can a song invoke a certain sense of nostalgia and at the same time spread futuristic vibes? Simple, get a song from the 1960s and get it featured in Black Mirror. As far as I’m concerned, this is THE Black Mirror song. Written by Jeannie Seely and Randy Newman, and recorded by Irma Thomas in 1968, this song gives me visuals of people on treadmill cycles, toiling away to earn their 15 million merits, but also makes me yearn for better times of the sixties, even though I wasn’t alive then. Clearly, you can see I have very mixed feelings about it. So I decided to cover it, trying to recreate the exact vibe to the best of my abilities. Dedicated to all Black Mirror fans. I’m still only just trying to get decent at producing a full band cover, so kindly bear with me. Thanks for your views, they are much appreciated.
