BRUTAL ELEPHANT SIGHTING IN ADDO

This was by far the worst guiding day of my life! I am very passionate about elephants and what happened on this day shocked me and my guests tremendously. This bull is in his twenties, in full musth, and not yet able to understand the difference between the hormonal scent of a young mother on its newborn calf and the hormonal scent of a cow in oestrus. Sexual frustration and confusion led to this tragic event that will live in my memory forever. Definitely the worst elephant behaviour of this sort that I have ever seen!
