RMAF 2011 Noise Shaping Sigma-Delta Based Dacs, Martin Mallison, CTO, ESS Technology [This video was orig. uploaded to RMAF YouTube channel, some time back, but has since gone missing]. The technology presented, ca. late 2011, is now dated, and possibly surpassed by several other technology companies (AKM, AD, Cirrus, etc.), and maybe even ESS themselves. Note that DAC architecture (sigma-delta, R2R/ladder, etc.) is only part of the story; implementation being possibly much more important.
