Technically known as the WNBA Championship, the final round of the 2000 playoffs was a rematch of the previous year’s contenders. The Houston Comets were looking to add a fourth straight title to their name with the original “Big Three“ of Cynthia Cooper, Sheryl Swoopes and Tina Thompson.
