MINI Rocketman concept - exterior design

MINI has unveiled the Rocketman concept which draws inspiration from the original 1959 Mini. It measures a compact 3,419mm long, 1,907mm wide and 1,398mm tall. The overall design is a little busy, but the car has an attractive Bermuda grey body with exposed carbon fiber sections that hint at the concept’s carbon fiber space frame construction. Furthermore, the Rocketman features a wraparound greenhouse, a glass roof (with optical illumination), LED headlights, projector-style taillights, and 18-inch lightweight wheels. No word on what powers the concept, but MINI hinted the Rocketman is capable of having an average fuel consumption of 3 L/100km (94 mpg imp / 78 mpg US).
