The Belgian artist enjoyed a standout 2021 with the release of his debut album ‘Trains, Planes & Automobiles’. Now in summer 2022, he comes strong with a stellar five-track EP, that celebrates the beauty of collaborative work. ‘Holiday’ sees Biesmans connect with Danish artist Kasper Bjørke for a full-bodied slice of cosmic dance, driven by neon synths and elevated by Jacob Bellens’ nostalgic vocal. Biesmans re-links with old friend TomTheBomb who featured on last year’s album, for ‘Shock Therapy’ a driving house jam that touches on electroclash, college rock and pop. Ascendent French artist Mala Ika makes her Watergate debut as she teams with Biesmans on the fantastic ‘Crème Brûlée’, a celebration of their shared love of ‘80s electro. ‘Hounds of Hell’ is his collab with the Adana Twins, which was birthed during a studio stint in Hamburg, and is built around a catchy disco arpeggio. A synchronic follow-on from his release on 17 Steps in 2019, Biesmans taps the Dusky brothers for ‘Back in the Daze’, an emotional electro cut made for end-of-night moments.
