Prof. Maksimilijan CENCIC-The Magic Flute ( Die Zauberflöte)

Professor Maksimilijan CENCIC Conducting, Operatic Repertoire, Rehearsal Piano/Accompaniment Born 1951 in Rogaška Slatina, Slovenia (then Yugoslavia),Maksimilijan Cenčić has served as the Artistic Director and Conductor of Operatic Studies at Prayner Konservatorium für Musik und Darstellender Kunst since 1998.  From 1991-2014, he was a conductor at the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna National Opera House).  Father of the internationally renowned counter tenor Max Emanuel Cenćič and jazz performer Lana Cenčić, Maksimilijan earned his degrees from the Klassisches Gymnasium (1970) and the Akademie für Music (1976) in Zagreb, Croatia.
