Hi Friends , one of the biggest hits of 70’s era - ’Stumblin’ In’ was a duet performed by Chris Norman (an English Soft-Rock artist and Lead Singer of the 70’s Rock band - Smokie) & Suzi Quatro ( an American singer , bass guitarist , songwriter and actress). It was released in 1978 as a standalone one single , and was Norman’s first single as solo artist. A Soft-Rock no. it was written by Mike Chapman along with Nicky Chinn and was produced by - Suzi Quatro , Chris Norman & Mike Chapman under the label RSO. The single was a Chartbuster. It peaked at no.4 at the Billboard Hot 100 in 1979. the song was Quatro’s only US top 40 hit and lone US charting effort. In the UK , it reached at for 8 weeks on the chart. It reached on the Canada RPM chart and peaked at no.1 on Canada Adult Contemporary Chart and became a hit in several other countries.
