Jonatan and Ludvig met in school at the age of 16 and quickly became good friends. They had a mutual interest for electronic music, and in their second year together, after taking a sound production class, they started producing music. Twelve years later they have released their debut LP ”Autumn Bells”, EP “For Seoul”, short film “Lulin” and mini album “LNLNN” on Atomnation. Using the woods and widths of the North as their main source of inspiration, the music of Gidge sounds like a mixture of electronic music and organic elements, such as wooden and stone percussions that the duo recorded in the forests outside of Umeå.
