Kokoro Kageura is a Japanese male judoka who competes in 100 kg weight category. He is the 2021 World Champion and a 2-time Asian Champion. He is also the person who ended Tedy Riner’s 10-year unbeaten streak. Kageura is on the smaller end of the heavyweight division, but his masterful use of drop Seoi Nage/Otoshi techniques and Ashi Waza footsweeps/reaps made him one of the top competitors in his prime.
