Hubert Sumlin - Blue Shadows

“Hubert Sumlin arguably did his best work during the 23 years he was Howlin’ Wolf’s guitar player, and his ragged, angular guitar style was a big part of Wolf’s rough-and-ready sound.“ So says Steve Leggett speaking of the disc that this song is taken from. And he may be right. Sumlin *was* very good at the side of Wolf. But he was good as well with his own band - as in Blue Shadows. A great Bluesman has passed away. May he rest in peace.
