ROVéo UVC: presentation of very 1st prototype

(Switch on sub-titles for explanations) ROVENSO makes agile robots for security and safety monitoring of industrial sites. But this time our team hacked in just 3 weeks the ROVéo robot to UVC disinfection, ensuring a safe return after the coronacrisis for people working at Nivalis Park. With a totally new approach than disinfection robots used in hospitals (that can’t deal with large area), ROVéo UVC is specifically designed to disinfect common working area of industrial sites. It leverages its 3D mapping capabilities by precisely analyzing its environment and planning its disinfection mission. The UVC exposure is simulated to ensure the required level of disinfection. The robot therefore focus its UVC beams only on specific area of interest by adapting the height of the UVC sources as well as tilting its reflectors towards the targeted surfaces.
