Dear music friends and fans, “Traitors“ is a track that was composed back in 1991 for the “Dark Star“ appendix album “2nd Star“. Inspired by Alexander’s intensive examination of Shakespeare’s work during his studies, it relates to one of the elementary themes of life, namely loyalty and betrayal. Hardly any other work in literature deals with this topic better and more impressively than “Macbeth“. This song was so important to Alexander that at the time he practically “forced” Ernst to record it. Here you can see and hear one of the few live recordings of this particular song.
