Johnny Mercer wrote the English lyric version, “Autumn Leaves“, which has been recorded by countless jazz icons including Nat King Cole, Frank Sinatra, Edith Piaf, Ahamd Jamal, Duke Ellington, and MANY others. Beegie Adair was a treasured member of the Nashville jazz community for many decades before her passing in 2022. She often performed at the Nashville Jazz Workshop with her trio while she wasn’t busy enchanting audiences across the US.
