Kathy Linden - Put This Ring on My Finger (1961)

Kathy is at her sweetest in this romantic, soft, hypnotizing ballad from an innocent time. She wrote the song as well. Sadly, it was issued as the B-side of “Billy is My Boy Friend“ which was a throwback to some of the weaker material she was given in the ’50’s. A few DJ’s turned over the record and “Put This Ring on My Finger“ managed to chart locally in the Top 30 in San Francisco, California in July 1961 and the Top 40 in Manchester, New Hampshire.
