HobbyBoss F4U-5 Corsair (Korean War) | 1/48 scale | How to Build, Paint & Weather | US Navy

The HobbyBoss Vought F4U-5 Corsair in 1/48 scale is a solid kit out of the box. The kit offers good details, soft plastic and the fit is fine. Upgrading is always possible and a cockpit set is definitely recommended. If you want to go one step further, you can take the time and add some rivets. It will be worth it. I like that HobbyBoss offers almost every version of the Corsair at an affordable price. Therefore this will not be my last Corsair build. Overall, I am very happy with the result and I had a lot of fun building it. The problems with painting and chipping were probably due to the high temperatures.
