Uryu Ishida: THE ANTITHESIS | BLEACH: Character Analysis

This is the third video in a series of videos titled THE ROAD TO ICHIGO, leading up to my Ichigo analysis. In this video I go through everything you need to know about Uryu Ishida. He is initially introduced as the first rival of our protagonist Ichigo, but Uryu quickly goes to become one of Ichigo’s closest and most reliable allies. With the introduction of Uryu we are told about the long history of the Quincy and the Shinigami. Uryu has a traumatic past which I will cover as he witnesses the death of his grandfather Soken Ishida at a very young age. We begin to see that the different characters who are introduced to us in the early portions of BLEACH have each been personally affected by death, and Uryu is no exception. In this video lets find out the significant role that Uryu plays within BLEACH, and how he plays a vital role in the final arc of the series, the Thousand Year Blood War arc.
