W.H. Auden - Funeral Blues

This is the recording of W.H Auden’s wonderful poem Funeral Blues from the BBC program “The Addictions of Sin: WH Auden in His Own Words.“ It uses four well known actors and a gentle piano accompanient to make what is one of the best renditions of this poem available. I have mixed in what I feel are suitable photos and a back projection of an actual funeral. This poem was made hugely popular after appearing in Richard Curtis’s award winning film “ Four Wedding’s and a Funeral“.
