Ex-SNCV Steam Locomotive No. 303

A very short video of the recently restored locomotive 303, seen in Thuin, Belgium during this Summer 2020. This is a meter gauge 0-6-0 T locomotive built in 1888. This type of locomotives was designed to haul tramways and as such, used in populated areas. To offer better visibility they were fitted with a foot plate at either end. The valve gear was also hidden by steel plates, allegedly in order not to frighten the horses used at the time.
