Co-written by Davie Bowie, the song appeared on Iggy Pop’s second studio album, Lust For Life (1977). Rolling Stone Magazine once ranked it at No. 149 on their list of “The 500 Greatest Songs of All Time.“ The song experienced a huge resurgence when it was featured in the 1996 UK film Trainspotting and its marketing campaign. Iggy Pop is a Grammy Award winning singer-songwriter from Ypsilanti, Michigan.
