This is a Wlkata Mirobot, 6 axis desktop robotic arm, with a custom 3d printed solder spool holder, extruder, and end-effector. The stepper that is doing the extrusion is controlled by the Mirobot’s stepper output on the bluetooth box. The end-effector is designed to be very flexible due to the delicate nature of soldiering
The project was definitely a challenge on both the mechanical and software side but I can call this one a success!
