Deschutes River State Recreation Area Along the Columbia River Gorge in Oregon

This place is an amazing little oasis. It has a great campground with 30 and 50 amp hookups, also a tent area right next to the river. The primitive camping is $10, the RV spots are around $25. There is a 17 mile rail trail for hiking, biking, and horseback riding. The 6 mile loop hiking trail crosses the bike trail at the midpoint. Fishing can not be done from a boat and there is a 2 catch limit. This was an awesome find, I hope to be back soon! Day use is free, no payments required :)
