Louise Johanna “Anneke“ Grönloh, ( 7 June 1942 – 14 September 2018) was an Indonesian-born Dutch singer. She had a successful career starting in 1959 that lasted throughout the 1960s, and scored a big hit with “Brandend zand“, one of the best-selling Dutch songs of all time. This hit ’Rozen hebben doornen’ (’Roses have thorns’) reached no. 10 in the Dutch Top 20 of Muziek Expres in 1964. It was broadcast by AVRO in the tv program ’Rooster’ on January 24, 1964.
