’Flugzeuge im Bauch’ is a rock ballad by the German musician Herbert Grönemeyer, which was also written and produced by him. It was released on February 4, 1985 as the third and final single from the album 4630 Bochum, on which the song originally appeared in May 1984. At that time, the song was not particularly successful in the charts - the single reached number 44. However, the song was often played live by him and often covered, particularly successful by Oli P. in 1998, and is therefore considered a classic of German rock and pop music.
